Back in the days (and other stories)

JJ-Street organised a dance competition in Viljandi. We competed with Gerly and did pretty good. The theme was old-school so the vibes were funky! When driving back around midnight, we were full of energy thanks to Red Bull, singing and dancing in the car. We were stopped by the police, who said I was speeding. I was sure I was not as I had the cruise control on,  also they didn't have any proof, so they let us go after some questions. I guess they were guessing to find drunk drivers on a Friday night.

There was a national beauty pageant for youngsters. The final event was in Club Venus in Tallinn, our group as amongst the main performers. Was lovely to perform and later chill and watch the school kids all prepped up.

One late night, driving home, there was something huge on the road, drove around it when saw it moving, turned the car around and discovered it was a dog. A chao-chao whole looked like a lion at first sight. His paw was hurt and he was scared and refused to move. I called the animal protection and another guy stopped his car to come help. Finally got him off the road and the people from the animal shelter knew somebody had just notified them about a missing chao-chao. Hopefully the majestic animal feels better and gets home quick.

We threw a surprise birthday-party for Santa. Threw a prank on her and she was so surprised when she got back to her place and found a house full of people.

A friend of mine celebrated her birthday at her country side in Leesi at the tip of Juminda Peninsula. The roads there were narrow and slippery, L's car got stuck in the snow before we reached the village, and the road to her house was still so snowed in, so we had to leave our cars further back. The snow reached until the hips when we were wading through it towards the house. Had a great evening singing, dancing, playing board-games and enjoying the sauna, surrounded by winter wonderland!

Jordan vol 2: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Al Karak, Dead Sea

From Petra we drove a couple hours towards the Wadi Rum desert, headed first to the Wadi Rum village to register ourselves, then left our car at the designated area at the beginning of the desert and met our host who drove us into the desert in his truck.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.
