Brussels work trips x 4 during Spring 2023

Zurich - Liechtenstein - Strasbourg - Brussels

Had the last worktrip of 2022 to Brussels in mid December, so decided to fly in a bit earlier and visit some places we'd wanted to visit for some time. Went to Zurich in Switzerland and did a daytrip to Liechtenstein from there. And later on our way to Brussels, had half a day to discover Strasbourg! Awesome mini roadtrip.

Brussels, Belgium

Traditional mid-summer work trip to Brussels in the 30 degrees heat. Got to Brussels on an early flight so had half a day to walk around and visit some thrift shops and vinyl stores.

Brussels, Belgium

I have always loved Brussels in spring or summertime.. Especially when it is proper summer there in the beginning of May and in Estonia is yet nowhere close to it. Like a quick escape into warmth. Brussels might always be for work, but it adds so much to work trips, when after work or on weekends it is so enjoyable outside.

Belgium

Had our first annual work trip of 2022 in the beginning of February to Brussels. Decided to also stay for the weekend and explore a bit. Visited Dinant and Gembloux.

Brussels - Ghent - Lille

November 2021, an extended work trip to Brussels after 1 year and 9 months felt absolutely amazing. Visited Ghent in Belgium and Lille in France during the weekend as well and enjoyed the absolutely beautiful sunny weather that we were given in mid-November. Mostly it has been more rain even in March or April.

I went to a friend's event for an evening and got to stay at their place in quite central Barcelona after they left for a trip the next morning. I love Spain and well everything Spanish - Latin-American you name it. Barcelona is probably one of my favorite cities in Europe. It's been 6 years since I was there the last time - so definitely about time for another visit. Flew to El Prat airport in Barcelona. Instead of getting a bus or metro to tow, took a quick shuttle bus to terminal 2 and walked the bridge out of the terminal to Renfe train station, bought a T10 card and took a train straight to town. The T10 card costs 10,20 EUR and gives you 10 bus/train/metro tickets. Getting from the airport to Sans train station and changing for metro then counts as one ticket. Also I discovered later when going to Tibidabo, ta...
