Midsummer celebrations around lake Como (Como town, Menaggio, Bellagio, Dongo and Gravedona), Turin and Milan.

I hadn't been to East-Estonia since I do not know how long, some of the villages  I had never visited. So,  besides great company and lots of laughs, it is also just so good to explore my own country once in a while.

During spring managed to have two more work trips to Brussels and discover a bit longer this time. The second time was in the beginning of April, and a sudden heatwave visited the town at the same time, so that was especially enjoyable.

25-27 of August, 2017. It is funny how one travels quite a lot, yet has never been to Setumaa or was last at Võru 10 years ago, which are situated in "the very far" end of my tiny homeland.

Summer is not complete without a music festival in it. I've been wanting to go to some of Europe's finest for some time, so, here's a promise: next year!!! Tho, Positivus will always stay a tradition. This year was 6th time for me. And there are awesome new finds every year! This year the setlist was overall amazing, especially sunday: The Lumineers, Jose Gonzales and Alt-J. The best new find for us was Rae Stremmurd. It might be old news for most but we got our favorite summer song out of it. I guess I don't have to say we had it playing non-stop after that.

June hasn't really reached any summery temperatures but global warming aside it has been a pretty great month. Besides I'm off to Cyprus in 2 days to bake myself in +48 C. 

Loving these trips to the market! And also when my own garden produces so much goodies. At some point every possible surface in the house was covered with apples. Apple cake time! Went to South-Estonia after quite a while. What a lovely nature is there in my homeland.  Leigo Lake Music. Magical.  The light show with combined with classical music creates such a mystical atmosphere. I'm so glad the weather mostly played along with all these outdoor events. There weather channel often gave out storm warnings. Usually I didn't feel anything, but this time in South-Estonia, the moment the concert ended at night and we got to the car it started raining.. pouring to be exact. The rain was so heavy I didn't see the road, the wind was so strong the car was swaying, the lightning around was was so scary I wanted nothing more to get to the hostel. Vacation! Lots of relaxation at the countryside, berry-picking and then eating all things fresh the garden offers, swimming in the sea, going to festivals, concerts and listening to good music, visiting friends, eating out and just enjoying summer like summer needs to be enjoyed. I think July is my favorite month (except when I'm traveling, then every month becomes my favorite month).  BBQ! Our neighbors created a beautiful fruit garden 10-11 years ago, at the same time we bought our ground next to them, then the family left and I think haven't been back in 10-ish years. The bushes were so active and full of life, that now our side of the garden is also full of bushes. So until my own bushes and trees are still little, we can enjoy the fruits of these the neighbour planted.  Sophie expresses her love for summer like this. Klooga!
