C.O.H.H

Camp of hiphop 2011 at Käsmu! Very international this time. Great workshops: 5 classes each day, every teacher was a master in his/her style. Learned a lot. My favorite classes were: Kapela's (far) house and hype classes, but also Valja's (rueold school hip-hop and Meech's (far) hip-hop. I believe I learned the most there and for example Kapela gives so much energy and motivation to do extremely hype choreos with all the power left in me when I'm already so so tired and out of breath. Grateful!

The hiphop/house parties in the evenings and just talking and having great time with fellow dancers. I don't remember the last time I laughed so much, sincerely and often cried of laughter. Me and Annu were also working in the pop-up buffet, an hour after every eating time, and we were a popular spot in the evenings, all the people chilled there with us, we joked about it being like a bar already.

When we got to Tallinn, had a final jam in the city centre, in front of the Russian culture centre, where we came off the bus. The song of the summer "Head shoulders, kneez and toes" was on the boombox and well.. dancers don't just stand there, when great music on!

Movie minutes.. Watched "Limitless". That shows what an incredible actor Bradley Cooper is, from a panicking addict to a calm and powerful businessman in seconds. The story starts as a tale about a poor and weak man, gets into a great mystery and in the end turns out to an thriller full of action. It's so fast-moving, with it's dark sides, twists and turns, it's gonna keep you on the edge of your seat. There are loose ends, which makes it interesting, in the end I would've guessed something completely different. How much of our brains can we actually use? Would you take a pill if it simply would allow to use all of it? How long would you manage without crashing while being limitless and could you stop? This movie has such interesting ideas. Mainly about persons identity, what's real and how much does our subconsciousness play a role. The film had a great concept, at parts was fun and definitely was exciting, it had holes in the plot, more in the making of a movie, that were just so illogical, but that's hollywood. I'd recommend this one.

Jordan vol 2: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Al Karak, Dead Sea

From Petra we drove a couple hours towards the Wadi Rum desert, headed first to the Wadi Rum village to register ourselves, then left our car at the designated area at the beginning of the desert and met our host who drove us into the desert in his truck.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.
