France, project leaders meeting.
June, 2012
It felt amazing to travel again, even if only for a weekend. Spent it in France. Mainly in Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, it's the suburb of Tours. A truly adorable town in mid-France. It's not that big, but it was once the capital and the most important city of France.

The participating countries of that project are gonna be France, Greece, Austria, Belgium and Estonia. (Belgium and austria are still very much in need of volunteers if somebody from there happens to see that.) The aim of the project is to improve tolerance and discuss general cultural problems between the habitants of EU countries.
It's a lot meeting with locals and a lot of creative activities, as in the end we will meet up with local professional theatre and make an improvisational piece connected with our topic. The group leaders are really cool and we had a fun weekend, planning the project and discovering the area. As some of the leaders had diverse cultural backgrounds, the five different cultures were at least doubled. The main language of the exchange should be english, but we were pretty much forced to understand french, and are also gonna be in July, so it is a good practice.
On monday, as our plane left from Paris in the evening, we had a whole day in there. It promised a thunder-storm, which thankfully waited until we got to the airport, so we spent a nice day chilling in a park near Tour Eiffel, walking on Champs-elysees and met some cool Americans near Arc de Triomphe.
Bisous
