Winter wonderland

This is what winter should look like. Will not complain over the cold or traffic or having to dig out my car five times a day - this weather is awesome.

Some amazing food at restaurant 'Salt'. The octopus!! And equally as much the Eton Mess cake and Gorgonzola cheesecake

One saturday morning had a huge mock trial in criminal law as the last examination in that subject. I was a prosecutor so had to do tons of research, write speeches, present them, submit evidence and cross-examine witnesses. I think I haven't been that nervous in a long time than the evening/night before the exam. It was held in an actual courthouse before a judge. We had to also find people to play our witnesses. Thanks again Ingrid for being an excellent - a bit senile but with an exceptional sense of smell - nosy neighbour. Our accused person was awesomely believable as well. All in all the process lasted almost 3 hours and luckily the nerves calmed down and the adrenaline kicked in instead so it went great and got an A for my last proper exam. Have to defend my work report next week, finish one seminar in spring semester and write and defend my masters thesis!

Jordan vol 2: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Al Karak, Dead Sea

From Petra we drove a couple hours towards the Wadi Rum desert, headed first to the Wadi Rum village to register ourselves, then left our car at the designated area at the beginning of the desert and met our host who drove us into the desert in his truck.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.
