Summer stories vol 3: August

Loving these trips to the market!

And also when my own garden produces so much goodies.

At some point every possible surface in the house was covered with apples. Apple cake time!

Went to South-Estonia after quite a while. What a lovely nature is there in my homeland.

Leigo Lake Music. Magical.

The light show with combined with classical music creates such a mystical atmosphere.

I'm so glad the weather mostly played along with all these outdoor events. There weather channel often gave out storm warnings. Usually I didn't feel anything, but this time in South-Estonia, the moment the concert ended at night and we got to the car it started raining.. pouring to be exact. The rain was so heavy I didn't see the road, the wind was so strong the car was swaying, the lightning around was was so scary I wanted nothing more to get to the hostel. We had 11 km to drive and that felt like too much.

Kristjan Kannukene and Ruja. The forbidden Concert. 43 years later.

Sending the summer away at Tuuli's.

The night of ancient fires. Celebrating the beauty of nature and speaking up for perceiving the cleanliness of the Baltic Sea.

The flee market at Telliskivi. Sometimes it feels great to get rid of stuff instead of buying it, especially when these things can make somebody else really happy.

Island time. Naissaar.

The last day at work. Bittersweet. It was an interesting two years and I'm happy to have had some fun colleagues to work with!

My munchkin. I'm gonna miss this one like crazy when I´m traveling.

Summer is ending, the weather is still excellent but the signs are here. I have always felt September as the beginning of something new... a change coming. This year is no different. Some new countries are waiting to be explored!

Jordan vol 2: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Al Karak, Dead Sea

From Petra we drove a couple hours towards the Wadi Rum desert, headed first to the Wadi Rum village to register ourselves, then left our car at the designated area at the beginning of the desert and met our host who drove us into the desert in his truck.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.
