June hasn't really reached any summery temperatures but global warming aside it has been a pretty great month. Besides I'm off to Cyprus in 2 days to bake myself in +48 C.
Visited Sophies birthplace during 'Nõmme Spring Day'. She got to play with 4 friends/relatives.
Bubble tea!! <3
Reunion/housewarming at Maarja's with ex-co-workers.
Beautiful Käsmu and a 'Smilers' concert
My baby turned three!
Daytripping in Helsinki and visited Sarah and Felix and their new Brazilian foodtruck. Keep an eye on festivals in Finland or pop into them at some street-corner if you're lucky, because the food is awesome! Carnaval Street Kitchen! Some yum tapiocas on the photo!
Other than that Helsinki is growing on me. Temperatures were midsummery and it was great to cycle around town, daydrink a little and discover the coast.
Cocktails with colleagues.
Summer celebratory event of Ministry of Justice.
27th!
'Foo Fighters' at Daugava island, Riga, Latvia. What a great event in general: 'Elephants from Neptune', 'The Kills' and 'Biffy Clyro' warming up and cherry on top 'Foo Fighters' playing for 3 hours straight with maximum power. So good and so worth basically not sleeping and going straight to work the next day. This is where I can't understand people who don't drink coffee. It saves me from being a complete zombie on days like this.
Midsummer! Bruce was visiting, so we had a great weekend with him at Keiu's place and in town. On Midsummer Eve we had absolutely no plans whatsoever and from a quiet bonfire evening it somehow became to this fun international gathering!
End-of-season party with our dance group.
Sophie got to play with Blacky the whole evening and it apparently was tiring.
1st of July 2017 marks the date of beginning of Estonia's presidency. The presidency of the Council of European Union rotates among the EU member states every 6 months. Estonia picked it up from Malta and will deliver it to Bulgaria in 6 months. For the next 6 months Estonia is responsible for defining the Council’s positions while taking into account the interests of all member states and remaining neutral at the same time.
