Brussels vol ..

During spring managed to have two more work trips to Brussels and discover a bit longer this time. The second time was in the beginning of April, and a sudden heatwave visited the town at the same time, so that was especially enjoyable.

Louise, a lovely hip area, bit further away from old town but has some nice stores and spots for food.

Delirium!

We were so hungry after arriving to Brussels and our only criteria was to quickly find a spot with a terrace in the sun. The place we found did not have a menu and the lady did not speak anything except very quick French. We took a gamble and it paid off in that fresh home-cooked meal.

Mont des Arts "hill of the arts" in the center of Brussels offers one of Brussels' finest views and is a very chillax spot to hang out on a summery evening.

What does one do with six pillows..

The best fries: 'Maison Antoine'! Gets busy but is so worth the wait. And these sauces... Also, most of the bars surrounding Maison Antoine allow the fries to be eaten on their premises.

The vibrant Sainte Catherine offers a well-suited match of old style and new vibes. It has a bunch of bars, clubs and outdoor cafes - something for everyone, the neighbourhood is beautiful to walk around at as well.

Anastasia kind of jinxed us, saying Nordica has been so on time lately. Our Friday evening flight was cancelled and we were left to Brussels for another evening. A fun, warm evening with wine and cheese and on an early morning we were flown back to Tallinn, I even made my mom's birthday on time, and the cancelled flight compensation did not hurt as well!

Jordan vol 2: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Al Karak, Dead Sea

From Petra we drove a couple hours towards the Wadi Rum desert, headed first to the Wadi Rum village to register ourselves, then left our car at the designated area at the beginning of the desert and met our host who drove us into the desert in his truck.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.
