A long overdue bits and pieces

“I love experienced people. I love people who are phenomenally talented. I love people who’ve worked so hard and been so courageous and are the leaders in their fields. For me to meet somebody like that and learn from them and share words with them—to me that’s magic.” – Michael Jackson, on filming The Wiz

Dubai is a weird mixture of western and arabic, rich and poor, liberal and religious. It kind of hit me when I was walking through the + world’s biggest mall” - a huge, luxurious shopping centre and suddenly the traditional prayer call sounded loudly from all the speakers. There was a mosque behind our hotel as well, the morning prayer served as a wake up call quite often.

My favourite holiday! I'm glad it's being celebrated more and more in Estonia too.

Poland vol 2

Another 600 km to drive to Krakow from Berlin. We were up for an early start, but in our search for some art galleries and with the universe definitely not on our side that morning, we left Berlin around half past 1 pm.   Wroclaw - Krakow - Zakrzovek

Berlin, Germany

I had never been to Berlin, as I've never really given Germany a chance. Berlin changed my mind, it's awesome!

Estonia-Latvia-Lithuania

Our dearest Clair came to see us from Australia, which requires celebrations. Demonstrated her some Estonian customs including Sauna, home-made wines and votka, fresh berries from the garden, "kama" and more our so called "traditional" foods we didn't make her try already in Aussie. Explored old town together like proper tourists and headed out of town to a euro-trip.  Keiu's dads homemade wine selections Clair brought Bundyyyyyy First stop Salacgrīva, Latvia and Positivus festival. A definite must-have for every summer ! Got lucky with the weather, shared so much laughs and enjoyed the artists, what a bunch of great talent again. Was really looking forward for "Everything Everything", "Tom Odell" and "Placebo " and needless to say our own "Ewert and the Two Dragons" - none didn't disappoint. "Robert Plant and the Sensational Spaceshifters", "Charli XCX" and

Summer shenanigans

End of season celebrations with Shadow! Eveli's birthday! Epp's album launch party at "Kivi Paber Käärid" Picnic at a beach Work Summer Seminar at Jäneda. As we were discussing these kind of events should be held in july, not before. When we reached the destination, it was raining cats and dogs and the temperature was +9,5 degrees. Not so summery. It was fun nevertheless. Especially when we found the sauna/pool area and it's warm/tropic climate.  Midsummer's Day in Estonia is always rainy, you can bet money on it. We managed to get the bonfire going for a second, then the rain got it. Needless to say bbq did not happen that night.  .. and strawberries. Estonian strawberries!! Nothing compares to.. spanish, polish nor australian.  Visited Sophies family again!

Bachelorette's

It was our friends bachelorette party night and we decided to go not so traditionally. Why go with the veil and tiara when you can have wigs. Congrats mrs!
