Surfers Paradise and Brisbane

What should you do when you want to go out but you can't really afford it? Well, if you are a female in Surfers Paradise you should go to Sin City on tuesdays or thursdays? We did. Left all the money home, took only a passport and had a fun night. Ladies drink free all night. And not lame girly cocktails, but all basic spirits, wine and champagne. As we were a little more observant this time, they actually put a proper amount of alcohol into a drink and they serve Bundy rum!!!

Brighter than the sun

Had the first international dinner in I-house. International food and meeting new people. Later went out to Caro's (Peru) place to celebrate Lindsay's last night here, she's going to study abroad in Germany and France for a year. At night the people who didn't get football tickets the first time tried to catch the tickets that were released at midnight, was fun to watch them panic, because the internet was overloaded, luckily at last everybody got the tickets.. it's gonna be a full stadium! The college games are all free for students but we have to apply for the tickets before. This weeks stand-up comedy was excellent, Roy Haber and Aaron Nemo, had a great laugh! Around midnight arrived back to the house, Chris (UK) decided to cook something, everybody was very skeptical but the food tasted great. My dance teacher sure loves her tv-shows, she constantly talks about them, for example, a guy from West Virginia actually competes in America's got talent, ...

Small small world

Z-Todd and marshmallow coq - aka - Estonian sounds dirty to foreigners. On Saturday we spent the last night with our friends from the States before sending them to the port. Last week was pure joy! Gonna miss you, all the jokes and carefree attitude.. And the curse, that the song we were talking about came from the radio within the next 10 minutes, it happened more than 3 times, so we kept on talking about great bands... It's like requesting songs from jukebox!  It is such a cool coincidence that Ryan and Mickey are from WVU - the university I got accepted in the States and am going next fall. They gave me some crucial information and told the best stories from their years in the uni. I guess I'll see you there! Fall 2011 - I simply cannot wait! Mid-July was Camp Of Hip-Hop.
