Late night rambling

" It is redundant to ask from a person who has studied or worked abroad, why did he/she do that. It's like asking why does one read books or love theatre. The feeling of breathing the air abroad is the same - impossible to describe. Even less possible is to open up the essence of that completely new person that one who has lived abroad sooner or later discovers within him/herself. " - from a book "My Spain" by A-M Penu.

Summer stories vol 3

Landed in Estonia on the 20th of August and headed straight to the Song Festival Grounds, Olly Murs and Robbie Williams performed on Estonian Re-Independence day!  Keiu had some friends over from Belgium and Germany, so we got to play tourists with them in Tallinn. Perfect for me actually, it's my hometown and I had not visited many of the touristic spots. Plus, re-discovering bars and eating places is always welcome. Patarei prison!   Lawyers office inside the old prison.  Seaplane harbour! Tallinn's TV-tower. The tower is 314 meters high and the viewing platform is up at the height of 175 m. The design and technology and attractions inside are worth visiting but I was a bit disappointed with the view, and it was a clear sunny, summery day. I believe Estonia is much more beautiful than what you can see from up there.  We're on the boat! The sailing competitions were canceled because of lack of wind tho.  On Grete's 24th birthday-party
