Perth vol 1

Halloween is near. We just came back from Perth city centre from a nice outdoor cinema in a park. The movie was " Warm bodies ". A zombie movie. A zombie romantic comedy to be exact. I gotta say it was funny and sweet, good entertainment!

Infinite Singapore

We are in Australia!!! Sitting in the hostel in Perth, free wifi is apparently too much to ask in here. The train ride to airport and flight here were smooth and that's a first as we previously managed to either get lost, go wrong direction or do anything else that we should have not. Singapore can be complicated. We were staying in a borough called Woodlands and for some reason they named all the streets in this borough Woodlands as well. Just with different numbers, but opposite to a Woodlands street nr 31 is street number 41, where is the logic? Also, they have designed a lot of halls as labyrinths. There truly were times we were laughing in tears and earned several “if looks could kill” stares. Last tuesday evening me and Keiu started our journey. The 11 hour flight was less painful than I thought. Last days in Estonia

Keiu and her dad celebrated their "together 75" jubilee in Vikings village a little out of town. A fun evening with tons of good food and drinks, entertaining children, even doing the infamous chicken dance and more singing and dancing later on. It was JJ-Street Baltic Session. Lots of dope talented dancers and two days full of good beats, competitions and after-parties. Also my first competition in house dance category!

Autumn stories

Friends from Germany were visiting Tallinn as a part of their journalism project. They interviewed us on the topic about studying in Estonia, so we are totally famous in German media now. Kidding aside, we showed them old town of Tallinn, visited some hip places and had a jenga marathon on a monday night at Red Emperor's bar with some Erasmus exchange students. Mondays out can be much fun. Baked some good old apple-cake with my grandmother. I'm always asked what is the traditional cuisine of Estonia. And I never know exactly what to say, this could sure be one of them. And it suits perfectly into a chilly autumny after-work afternoon, with a huge cup of (self-grown) peppermint tea.  Visited Ingrid to catch up, Annabel is growing so fast! Went to see Woody Allen's newest movie " Blue Jasmine ". If you enjoy Woody, you'll enjoy this. Even more, it's one of his best probably. The same movie from somebody else and with less awesome casting would&#
