Munich, Germany

Early February, headed to Munich for a concert and a fun couple of days with Inx. We got really lucky with the weather. Although early in the morning we landed in complete fog (as you do apparently every time, you fly to Munich), the days were sunny and quite warm for February. So we walked around a lot, did a lot of window-shopping, some actual shopping, ate and sipped a couple cocktails.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.

Berlin, Germany

Went for a long weekend in Berlin right in the beginning of September. Lovely extension of summer, as altho Estonian summer was absolutely gorgeous, the weather went from 29 C to 14 C in one day on 29th of August.

Budapest 2019: Sziget Festival

7-13 of August 2019! Week-long festival on the island of freedom. Sziget is nominated for Best Overseas Festival award at the UK Festival Awards. I can see why!

Festival season

Positivus 2018 There were not that many huge names this year, but found some true gems. Also, the weather was perfection and Positivus always just has this vibe!

Guns N'Roses - Not in this lifetime

16/07/2018 I have on and off listened to them for 20 years due to family influences. Amazing to finally see them in action. It was a powerful 3,5 hours long show. I'm quite a concert addict, so I would take more and more and more of such evenings! The supporting act Volbeat from Denmark was pretty great as well.

Rolling Stones in Sweden

11-15 of October 2017 I've always been to Stockholm, either for a day cruise, or just passing by flying somewhere through Arlanda. This time,  as we were already there for a concert, yes the legendary Rolling Stones, we decided to discover a bit as well.

Summer stories vol 1: June

June hasn't really reached any summery temperatures but global warming aside it has been a pretty great month. Besides I'm off to Cyprus in 2 days to bake myself in +48 C.

Winter stories vol 1

January has been a pretty chillax month after years of studying and working and months of traveling. Vacation of a vacation?! I've been doing things I have wanted to do for ages, for example took a photography course and got more serious about the idea of doing something with my camera, also, finally started playing (learning) ukulele which a close friend gave me as a gift a year ago, got back into dancing and working out in general, have been spending a lot of time with Sophie and my friends and family. Towards the end of the month also started job-hunting and will hopefully get some good news soon.  Like every year, January and February are movie months for me as it is the Academy Awards season. I have 15 movies on my list this year, altho like every year I will eventually probably skip a couple. I am not at all into space related movies and war movies demand a specific mood which I almost never am in. I have this far seen five films and apprecia...

Argentina vol 1: Mendoza

Our trip from Santiago to Mendoza was one of the best examples of Latin-America being on the "Latin time". Our bus was supposed to leave at 9.50 pm from Terminal del Sur. First of all the counter told us the bus will leave from the station 40 to 49. So could be whichever. The station was so overcrowded that you couldn't basically move, walk or stop anywhere. There were buses of different companies coming in and leaving the station every second. It was pretty chaotic. There was no El Rapido bus on time, at least we hoped there wasn't as it was quite hard to be sure when you don't know from where the bus is gonna go exactly. It got 10, then 10.15, we got a bit worried. There were some gentlemen trying to organize the masses of people yelling something into the loud speaker. Then again they had no idea about some El Rapido bus. "If it comes, it comes, then we'll know", they said. When it was 10.30 we were definitely worried. I went back to the counter ...
