Spring stories

Tried wind-surfing with a snowboard on a huge snowy field. It was so awesome, seems a lot easier than actually is, but the feeling when the wind just lifts you up is pretty damn awesome. It is so addictive, and in Estonia it actually would be perfect, as we have tons of snow, enough wind and cold, a lot of fields but no mountains.

On saturday night it was the Estonian House Founders dance party at our Tallinn studio. House music all night long. Was great!

It's easter! A little throwback from last year in the States, we were coloring eggs and decorating the rooms in our dorms and had a chocolate egg hunt inside and outside the house which everybody at first acted like "whatever it's for kids", but when it started suddenly took really seriously, we were running around happily trying to find as much eggs we could!

Watched a movie "Across the Universe" - don't even know why I had it, but it was so cool. Kind of a musical, but the characters were mainly interacting with each other via talking not singing, singing was more like giving the back stories or creating the aura or just making a point. and it was no random music, it was music of the Beatles. It was like a roller-coaster ride, fast, random, full of emotion. The song parts were kinda inspirational, random interesting ideas popped into my head while watching. The plot itself, it was a love story, set in America during Vietnamese war, so it dealt with serious topics, war, loss, poverty etc. It's a liberating, rebellious movie, with superb music and a great cast with good voices.

It's also my last week of working on my thesis projects, gotta hand them in next monday. Work mode on.

Jordan vol 2: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Al Karak, Dead Sea

From Petra we drove a couple hours towards the Wadi Rum desert, headed first to the Wadi Rum village to register ourselves, then left our car at the designated area at the beginning of the desert and met our host who drove us into the desert in his truck.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.
