"Change isn't always a bad thing. You should never settle for less than what you deserve, just because it's what you're used to. Change is one of the hardest things to experience, but once you get to where you want to be you see life from a whole new perspective. Never let anyone bring you down. Do what makes you happy and surround yourself with good, caring people. Life isn't easy, but it is beautiful."

Started a sunday morning with a refreshing 4 km run with the girls from our dance studio. I used to love to run, nowadays my ankle is disturbing me a lot, gotta get back in shape, and definitely buy proper running shoes. I wouldn't mind a better weather as well, +2 C is not my favourite weather for running.

My all time favourite running experience is from December 2006. We were in South-Africa and they held a run for supporting the fight against diabetes, at 5 am in the morning. The distance was 7.5 km, on the coastline. It was so incredibly beautiful, at times the ocean was on both sides of the narrow road and due to the wind the waves occasionally splashed over our heads. As it was pretty hot even at 5am, it felt great and the views were just exquisite.

Back to the present, I defended my thesis and the research paper last week!!!! So-so happy, but no time to be relieved, last homeworks and projects to do and exams are way too close, first one on tuesday!

On thursday I went to a court career day, it was interesting to hear the details about working on different positions in court. The speakers were interesting to listen, as next to theoretical stuff they told some vivid stories.

On friday in the beginning of our last legal theory and argumentation seminar, a guy came into the auditorium, started setting up sth, came to us like "I don't like these coats on the chairs, put them away and these bags, put them down, you boy back there, put your bag away!!!" We were all like, what's going on, who is he.. when our professor walks in, "Please don't eat me alive, you didn't have time to refresh your make up, do your hair or shave, I forgot to tell you, he's gonna record the seminar, take pictures.. there's gonna be a story about the legal department."

It was also mi mamacitas birthday last sunday. We finally have spring, so went to eat in a cool place outside of town, good food, family and warm sun!

On friday night had a training, did vogueing, especially hands movements, it's such an elegant style!

We had pretty much the same dresscode for the night, not that anybody believed us, but it was a coincidence!

Jordan vol 2: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Al Karak, Dead Sea

From Petra we drove a couple hours towards the Wadi Rum desert, headed first to the Wadi Rum village to register ourselves, then left our car at the designated area at the beginning of the desert and met our host who drove us into the desert in his truck.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.
