Berlin 2018

18-21 of January

First (of many coming) long weekends of 2018.

This was not a culture trip in any sense altho sighseeing in Berlin is great, luckily I have been before: https://mariisiiin.blogspot.com.ee/2015/08/berlin.html. The last time was in summer during a heat wave, and it was absolutely awesome. This time it was during colder weather, yet this was a proper hens party weekend with 10 awesome ladies, so I stay by me: Berlin is amazing!

Air Baltic offers great deals to Berlin occasionally. Got back and forth for less than 60 EUR and it was a straight flight. Going there, it was pretty windy when we were landing. Little did I know there was a huge storm coming, after we landed many of the flights were delayed or cancelled and by the evening even the long distance trains did not go any more. One of the guys was coming from Munich by train. At some point the train was stopped and everybody were put in cabs, so he ended up coming almost 500 km-s in a taxi and the Railway company paid for it.

Got to Berlin a day early to meet some lovely people. Had an awesome dinner at a Chinese place near Wedding area.

Also met Susanne for brunch and beers on a friday morning before going head first to the hens madness!

Love those Kreuzberg bakeries and coffeeshops.

And there we go.

Exit Room in Berlin. Great game and we all got out before an hour ran out so can call it a success!

I’ll cherish these memories and laugh about the photos we took, forever, but hey, what happens in Berlin stays in Berlin.

Jordan vol 2: Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Al Karak, Dead Sea

From Petra we drove a couple hours towards the Wadi Rum desert, headed first to the Wadi Rum village to register ourselves, then left our car at the designated area at the beginning of the desert and met our host who drove us into the desert in his truck.

Pinkpop vol 2, Megaland, NL

Second time at Pinkpop festival (second year in a row, in fact) and still impressed! The weather was a bit more eventful this year, as last year was a complete heatwave. This year, we got heavy rain on the first day, perfect mild, sunny weather on the second day, and back to the heat on the third day.
