My windowsill herb gardening is going wonderfully. It's not that hard after all, I thought it would never grow for years as my mom or none of my close relatives have really been huge plant growers. I just love salads and what's fresher than basil, dill, green onions, coriander or any other leaves straight from a pot.   Day 1 1 week 1 day 2 weeks 2 days 3 weeks 3 days Now (6weeks 6 days-ish)

I love when people do something meaningful with their talent. Something inspiring for people who need their faith in humanity restored (or at least a bit reassured) and life-changing to the ones who need it the most.  I'm definitely buying this album (well, I would anyway). Sophie always does that! At least she is the cutest possible living little alarm-clock. Once she actually started barking at nothing at 7.11 am, my clock was supposed to go off 7.10 but I had forgot to set it, so she saved the day and didn't let me be late to work. A lovely ladies night at a "Radio 2 live"  Why I absolutely adore january/february?? OSCARS! So many great movies and so few time to watch them all. Done a pretty good job tho already. " Boyhood " - at first the 2 hours and 45 minutes seemed impossibly long and then it was gone just like that. Every minute of the movie was necessary. Such a human, simple, relatable, down to earth tale.  " Whiplash " - I adore music so I adored the movie too. Crazy intense, possessing, unexpectable movie. And so much respect for Miles Teller! Especially for playing himself. " Still Alice " - sad, depressing. Saying it was a "good" movie doesn't sound right, ...

Snow came just in time and white Christmas it is! It started snow-storming. I had an exam in the afternoon and as it was heavily snowing I just in case left home more than 1,5 hours before. Barely made it.  Reminds me of January 2012 when there was a snowstorm in New York and the city shut down, even the subway stopped working.  There's time for cooking during the holidays! Christmas food (and sweets)! Turkey, pork, lots of cabbage, potatoes with cheese sauce, pumpkin and cranberry sauce! Estonians are very friendly and open when there's the trigger that pushes the button that makes the emotion pour out. Sophie is a fantastic trigger. Walking her is like being in some socialising hub, everybody wants to pet her and starts a conversation with me. One couple actually stopped their car in the middle of the road and ran around 100 meters into the field to come pet her.

Went to see " Begin again ". I have been waiting for the movie for quite a while.  Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Adam Levine, Hailee Steinfeld, Cee Lo Green, Catherine Keener. I'd prefer it's original name " Can a Song Save Your Life " but the movie is sweet, not cheesy and full of passion. Music is good and it characterises the life in NY so well, god I miss this city.  Vianney lives in Sweden now and came to visit for a weekend. What a lovely bar-hopping in Tallinn's cool, random, soviet and/or creepy bars.  I rarely watch tv. I mean, I'm addicted to many series but I like to watch them when I have time, not depend upon tv-schedules. This year, after being tired of work: dealing with crazy people for 8 hours straight, answering phone-calls when some Irina or Jelena whose husbands have disappeared without a trace to Russia or somewhere over the ocean, blame me for not letting them get divorced, or some Nikolai doe...
