Our choir's friends from Murnau, Germany were celebrated a 100th anniversary of their choir, our other friends from Berlin were going to join them for a couple of concerts so we decided to surprise them as well and flew in for a long weekend.
Murnau is a lovely town next to the Staffelsee lake. Although November, the weather was spring-like and very enjoyable.

We also had one concert in Munich.

And the biggest event was a concert and celebrations in Murnau on Saturday!
On Sunday we attended a local parade and visited some neighboring areas.
The Pilgrimage Church of Wieskirche - did not impress less the second time around.
Walked down to the lake on Monday morning before my train to Munich as the weather was still so enjoyable.
Germany's trains might be on time, but they sure have a lot of construction going on. We had to change trains twice. Of course the information was given only in German. Luckily I was with some of my Berlin friends.
Met up with Stefano in Munich for some beers before flying home the next morning.
