A week in Croatia!  Dubrovnik - Split - Zadar - Krk island - Zagreb

Traditional mid-summer work trip to Brussels in the 30 degrees heat. Got to Brussels on an early flight so had half a day to walk around and visit some thrift shops and vinyl stores.

  Bavaria countryside, Munich and Nurenberg, may 2022. A choir trip consisting of series of concerts and exploring Germany. 

As straight after our work trip to Brussels in May, we were supposed to head for another meeting in Hague, Netherlands, there was no reason to go home for the weekend in between. We took a train from Brussels, spent a hot and sunny Sunday in Amsterdam and took another train from there to Hague on Monday. 

I have always loved Brussels in spring or summertime.. Especially when it is proper summer there in the beginning of May and in Estonia is yet nowhere close to it. Like a quick escape into warmth. Brussels might always be for work, but it adds so much to work trips, when after work or on weekends it is so enjoyable outside. 

 A quick long weekend for Easter in Italy! There are so many areas in Italy that even a I-don't-know-how many'th time there, is exciting and new.

Another work event took us to Paris for a conference and a EU Presidency EJN meeting. Paris is always beautiful! The weather was very spring-like and welcoming. It was obviously hard to fully enjoy the trip as the timing of it fell in the middle of the start of war in Ukraine. 

  Had our first annual work trip of 2022 in the beginning of February to Brussels. Decided to also stay for the weekend and explore a bit. Visited Dinant and Gembloux. 

January 2022 Escaping from the cold. Working remotely and exploring on weekends for a couple of weeks. 

  November 2021. It was my second time in Norway, last time was almost 10 years ago. Lot of things have changed, also the prices, getting groceries, eating out or even gas for the car did not seem so screamingly unaffordable anymore, which shows well how expensive life in Estonia has gotten. 

   Italy once more! November 2021

November 2021, an extended work trip to Brussels after 1 year and 9 months felt absolutely amazing. Visited Ghent in Belgium and Lille in France during the weekend as well and enjoyed the absolutely beautiful sunny weather that we were given in mid-November. Mostly it has been more rain even in March or April.

July 2021.  As we arrived to town in the ungodly hour we did a long walk and sightseeing tour before most people woke up. At least the temperature was still lovely, as by mid-day on most days temperatures were over + 35 degrees. By lunchtime we found a lovely seaside cafeteria and enjoyed some well-earned apersols with complementary tapas!
